Village Presentation (VP) is the project based on transferring knowledge of Renewable Energy use and how to choose the best quality of RE product that is presented directly to the local communities. In the activity year, the 2016 REZA plan to implement the first base of VP training in the North region of Unguja Island after the pilot phase was done in 2015. During the implementation period, REZA has conduct 10 village training in the duration of January to June 2016.
REZA through the financial support of URBIS Foundation has successfully implemented conducting 10 village presentations at the North Region of Unguja Island. VPs aimed to raise awareness to the house family on potentials and quality service of renewable energy products, information dissemination and practiced/use renewable energy equipment in the rural area instead of spending a lot of money for kerosene. REZA conducted Villages presentations in 2 villages.
REZA installed 81 small solar lighting systems to electrify the local houses to improve the living and learning environment. This small solar lighting system with 8watt PV is the best for charging the phone and lighting 4 bulbs that help 63% of the family cost annually. The project was commissioned from January to December 2015
