Installation of Solar PV plant in Zanzibar Rural Schools

The world convention of Human rights has directly emphasized that every child has the right to attain education. As a fundament of the leader of our future and development. It is education that plays crucial roles in rapid economic development as skillful minded people rise on.
In Zanzibar, since 1964 has declared free education and has greatly gone proportional with the increases of schools from pre-primary to higher education level.
Currently, many schools have been repaired through a student’s classroom is limited by poor environment, dark room which not positive to their health, as classes size are small and the number of students enrolls in the classrooms are very high. Again, the lack of sufficient teachers has been a problem that hinders children learning development.

Another identified problem within these schools is financial issues to cover the cost of all students learning needs. Considerably that no contribution is allowed because of the free education policy. This made many schools rely on grants from the government which is not enough at all levels.
Through solar installation in Zanzibar schools, the project will dig into their needs by providing durable light in the classroom as well as conducive environments that will increase their performance in teaching and learning, since the solar power will cover most of their daily needs as a school such for Water pumping, lighting, and other necessary school services that depend on the power supply
